National Art Honor Society
OFFICERS
President -
Presides at all chapter meetings, prepares agendas, represents the chapter in school meetings, conducts the duties of the office in a business-like manner, works closely with sponsor in planning activities, organizes the induction ceremony, acts as Master of Ceremonies.
Vice-President -
Plans and conducts chapter programs, becomes involved with club activities as much as possible, assumes the duties of the President in his/her absence, assists the president when needed.
Treasurer -
Receives funds during Rush Week, maintains a ledger, prepares financial reports, follows school procedures for making deposits.
Secretary -
Records proceedings at the meetings by writing minutes, keeps attendance records, maintains evidence of participation by all members, initiates all chapter correspondence and publicity dealing with the school and local paper.
Historian -
Creates and maintains an attractive scrapbook as a comprehensive record of the chapter’s activities. This includes photographs, newspaper clippings, website developing, digital photos and samples of invitations and programs.
Parliamentarian -
Arbitrates in resolving points of contention regarding chapter procedures.
Chair for Public Relations -
Attends all meetings and assists secretary with publicity, by making announcements and posters.
Chair for Activities -
Works with the Vice-President in developing chapter activities.
Chair for Exhibitions -
Chair for Awards and Ceremonies -
Coordinates the Induction Ceremony and
the Art Show at the end of the year.
